fibrocystic breast diseae and breast implants?. would it help the pain of fibrocystic breast disease if I get breast implants? Someone told me that it would lessen the sensitivity of the fibroids.

i have fibrocystic breast disease but the problem is that i had a partial hyst in 2002 and sence then it has?. not got any better. they say i will only have it durning my mestraul cycle but i dont have one it has gotten to the point that it happens for 3 weeks out of a month. does anyone know how to help the problem or get ride of it?

Do you drink alot of caffeine,chocolate those are not the best things to have they make the matter worse.you might get headachs comming of the caffieine but that too will pass
can an 8 y/o girl who is just beginning to develop breasts have fibrocystic disease?they’re hard&disc-like?.
Should I be worried? I don’t want to freak her out but I don’t remember that happening to me when I started developing,but I do have fcd now in my adult-hood, I have fraternal twins & although the other is not developing yet, she has nothing hard like beneath her breasts…

Yes, they can get fibro diseases at any age. The breasts will be harder when they begin development, which could be normal. If you have a history of fibro stuff, then see your Dr. Good luck

when they are developing a hard disc can be felt just behind the nipple, then the nipple grows and the breasts follow so i dnt think there is any need to worry!!! because that process happened to me and im perfectly healthy!! hope that helps!!

developing breats can be very tender. If it persists beyond a month, have it checked out. Hot packs will alleviate discomfort.

Hi I have the same thing and you should stop drinking caffeine. It’s ok to drink some caffeine but limit your caffeine. And don’t smoke !!!

It can help. Try taking a vitamin e supplement and ibuprofen. Cutting down on caffeine will help because it is a stiumlant.

I experience this. Aleve taken at regular intervals starting a few days before I get my period generally helps. Also, cut down on salt (fast food, prepared meals, frozen dinners), soda (diet or regular), and sugar. Eat more fruits/veggies, walk 20 minutes per day, and drink more water. Calcium, magnesium, and B-complex supplements help tremendously. Good luck!
AreDoes anyone have fibrocystic breast disease?. if so, do you have prominent pain on just one breast? And do you have one breast that has more lumps than the other? One more question? Do you have on lump that is far more prominent thatn the others? Also did have a biopsy to confirm it or did they just do an exam?
What shape are the lumps? Mine is pea shaped and sized.

yes yes yes one breast has more than the other have had numerous biopsy and have had lump more prominent than others,mine are so painful and so big they have to be removed

Fibrocystic Breast Disease?. I was diagnosed in January with Fibrocystic Breast Disease. I have done extensive research on the disease but always come away feeling less than satisfied with the answers. I have been told that limiting my caffine and chocolate intake should help with the pain and swelling. I drink 1 cup(8-12oz) of coffee in the morning, rarely if EVER eat chocolate, and take Vitamin E. Nothing helps, my breasts are still VERY tender and swollen. I would like to know if there is anything else I can do short of loppng them off?

I was diagnosed with this about 3 years ago. I’ve asked 2 doctors during normal annual exams and they just said ibuprofen or something similar. The told me they could give me prescription strength if I would need. I didn’t like this idea since it is probably 10 days out of every month that I’m in at least some pain-significantly worse as I get closer to my period (probably the same situation for you too). Sorry I can’t tell you much more, but this is all the info I’ve been given in my experiences.
