I was on anti depressants that actually caused my breasts to start hurting and swelling. I even started to produce milk! Needless to say, i stopped taking them. My point is….are you taking any medication that could be causing it?
Answer by kerri7101
yes you could be pregnant the only way to be sure is blood test urine hcg test cannot always detect the hormone…for best results do a urine test first thing in the am…when the amount of hcg will be concentrated. Your md should be more than happy to do a blood test to determine if you are or not….sounds like it to me!!!

Evening primrose oil tablets help with breast tenderness. You also might have a yeast infection. You can go to the chemist and pick up the stuff you need to treat these things.

“So what is it?” Demi interrupted the revelation as he stared at the signs on the tests, gulping back the strain knot on his throat, “Were with child.” Here eyes widened immediately replaced with tears and a smile that embraced upon Joseph. He let a laugh, turning to her as she crashed her body to his, tears falling from his eyes. “I love you,” he breathed as she pushed him against the bathroom wall, “You have no,” she said as her lips traveled away from his down to his jaw, then that rock bobbing Adam’s apple, sucking as if it were a forbidden fruit, nibbling until he groaned, “You have no clue how much I love you,” he shuttered as her words seeped under his flesh, walking themselves to there bedroom slipping off her garments, revealing that she wore nothing but a thin red string-cloth covering her wet arousal. Joseph kneeled his hands resting on her bare hips, his thumbs stroking her stomach, “A piece of you.. Of me lives in there,” he said looking up at her, glistening tears priding to erode any moment, she smiled down nodding her breath hitching when he kissed her tummy, he had done that before.. But now there was another meaning to this. They were with child. Something greater then this feeling was starting to live, all because of them. Leaving a trail of warm kisses from her belly to her soft smiling lips, laying her down as he joined his body with hers. Making love before might have been intimate indescribable but now.. Blocked duct? Mastitis?
Don’t stop breast feeding, keep the milk flowing if you can and talk to your doctor or the La Leche League in your area, or Lactation Consultant.
Answer by mystic_eye_cda
Mastitis, but you may or may not need antibiotics for it. For one thing up to 10% of mastitis is caused by yeast/thrush so antibiotics actually make it worse.
http://www.kellymom.com/bf/concerns/mom/mastitis.html
How do I know if I have a plugged duct or mastitis?
PLUGGED DUCT A plugged (or blocked) duct is an area of the breast where milk flow is obstructed. The nipple pore may be blocked (see Milk Blister), or the obstruction may be further back in the ductal system. A plugged duct usually comes on gradually and affects only one breast.
Local symptoms Mom will usually notice a hard lump or wedge-shaped area of engorgement in the vicinity of the plug that may feel tender, hot, swollen or look reddened. Occasionally mom will only notice localized tenderness or pain, without an obvious lump or area of engorgement. The location of the plug may shift.
A plugged duct will typically feel more painful before a feeding and less tender afterward, and the plugged area will usually feel less lumpy or smaller after nursing. Nursing on the affected side may be painful, particularly at letdown.
Systemic symptoms There are usually no systemic symptoms for a plugged duct, but a low fever (less than 101.3°F / 38.5°C) may be present.
MASTITIS Per Maureen Minchin (Breastfeeding Matters, Chapter 6), mastitis is an inflammation of the breast that can be caused by obstruction, infection and/or allergy. The incidence of postpartum mastitis in Western women is 20%; mastitis is not nearly so common in countries where breastfeeding is the norm and frequent breastfeeding is typical. Mastitis is most common in the first 2-3 weeks, but can occur at any stage of lactation. Mastitis may come on abruptly, and usually affects only one breast.
Local symptoms Local symptoms are the same as for a plugged duct, but the pain/heat/swelling is usually more intense. There may be red streaks extending outward from the affected area.
Systemic symptoms Typical mastitis symptoms include a fever of 101.3°F (38.5°C) or greater, chills, flu-like aching, malaise and systemic illness.

What is the usual treatment for plugged ducts and mastitis?
It’s always best to treat a plug immediately and aggressively to avoid escalating into mastitis.
CAUTION: Do NOT decrease or stop nursing
when you have a plugged duct or mastitis,
as this increases risk of complications (including abscess).
GENERAL SUPPORTIVE MEASURES
Plugged Duct
* Rest
* Adequate fluids
* Nutritious foods will help to strengthen mom’s immune system
Mastitis
* Bed rest (preferably with baby)
* Increase fluids, adequate nutrition
* Get help around the house
BREASTFEEDING MANAGEMENT
– SAME for plugged duct or mastitis
– important to start treatment promptly
“Heat, Massage, Rest, Empty Breast”
General
* Nurse frequently & empty the breasts thoroughly.
Aim for nursing at least every 2 hrs. Keep the affected breast as empty as possible, but don’t neglect the other breast.
* When unable to breastfeed, mom should express milk frequently and thoroughly (with a breast pump or by hand).
Before nursing
* Use heat & gentle massage before nursing
– Warm compress. Try using a disposable diaper: fill the diaper with hot water (try the temperature on your wrist first to avoid burns), squeeze the diaper out a bit, then put the inside of the diaper toward the breast. This will stay warm much longer than a wet cloth.
– Basin soak. Fill sink or bowl with hot water and submerge breast in water while massaging the plugged area toward the nipple. Some report better results when epsom salts are added to the water — add a handful of epsom salts per 2 quarts (2 liters) of water. Rinse with fresh water before nursing, as baby may object to the taste.
– Hot Shower. It can be helpful to massage in the shower with a large-toothed comb. The comb should be drawn through a bar of soap until it is very soapy and then used to gently massage over the affected area in the direction of the nipple.
* Loosen bra & any constrictive clothing to aid milk flow.
While nursing
* Nurse on the affected breast first; if it hurts too much to do this, switch to the affected breast directly after let-down.
* Ensure good positioning & latch. Use whatever positioning is most comfortable and/or allows the plugged area to be massaged.
Note: Advice to point baby’s chin (or nose) toward the plugged area is not necessarily going to be helpful as it is based on the idea that the milk ducts take a nice, direct route to the nipple – recent research tells us that this is not true, and that a particular duct might begin in one area of the breast but can “wander” in many different directions before terminating in any area of the nipple.
* Use breast compressions.
* Massage gently but firmly from the plugged area toward the nipple.
* Try nursing while

By different i mean heavier,and more sensitive to touch.They started getting heavier/sore around 7 weeks. And now they just feel bigger? its weird…the soreness comes and goes,but nothing unbearable. Its completely normal i asked my doc!
Its just hormones is what she replied!
Answer by Carolina
I felt like that a lot. Right now my boobs are just HUGE but they aren’t sore at all (I am 12 weeks pregnant). It is very normal for them to feel sore one day and not so bad the next.

I’m 15 weeks pregnant and the breast soreness tends to come and go for me. You’re not alone!

18 year old with tender breasts?. My breasts are tender. My period is not soon..not even close. I am definitely not pregnant. What could cause the tenderness? I have noticed a bit of growth, but nothing significant… I doubt 18 year olds are still growing breasts. It’d be a miracle since I hate my small b cups

Most womans breasts change in shape and fullness into their twenties.
INGREDIENTS 2 tablespoons butter 1/2 pound mushrooms, cut into thin slices 2/3 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 2), cut into 1/2-inch pieces 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon fresh-ground black pepper 5 1/2 cups canned low-sodium chicken broth or homemade stock, more if needed 1 tablespoon cooking oil 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 1/2 cups arborio rice 1/2 cup dry white wine 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving 8 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley DIRECTIONS In a large pot, heat the butter over moderate heat. Add the mushrooms. Cook, stirring frequently, until the mushrooms are browned, about 5 minutes. Add the chicken, 1/4 teaspoon of the salt, and the pepper. Cook until the chicken is just done, 3 to 4 minutes. Remove the mixture from the pan. In a medium saucepan, bring the broth to a simmer. In the large pot, heat the oil over moderately low heat. Add the onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the rice and stir until it begins to turn opaque, about 2 minutes. Add the wine and the remaining 3/4 teaspoon salt to the rice. Cook, stirring frequently, until all of the wine has been absorbed. Add about 1/2 cup of the simmering broth and cook, stirring frequently, until it has been absorbed. The rice and broth should bubble gently; adjust the heat as needed. Continue cooking the rice, adding broth 1/2 cup at a time and allowing the rice to absorb it before adding the next 1/2 cup. Cook the rice in this way until …
Ingredients I was using in this video: For the Marinade: Black Pepper, Freshly Ground Maldon Sea Salt 3 tblsp Dark Soy Sauce 2 tblsp Hoisin Sauce 2 tblsp White Wine Vinegar 2 tblsp Runny Honey 4 tblsp Heinz Tomato Ketchup 1 tsp Chinese Five Spice Also needed: 4 Chicken Breast Fillets 2 Carrots 2 White Onions 5 tblsp Vegetable Oil 300ml Vegetable Broth 1 tblsp Corn Flour 2 Red Peppers 2 Yellow Peppers Method: Add all ingredients for the marinade to a big bowl and give it a good stir. Cut your chicken breasts into strips and add to the marinade. Give it a good stir and make sure everything is nicely covered. Cover your bowl with cligfilm and transfer to your fridge. Let the chicken marinade for 24 hours (or at least 2 hours). Bring a large pot with salted water to the boil, add your washed rice and boil for 8 minutes. Drain the rice, add to the pot again, cover with a lid and set aside until needed (at least 10-15 minutes). Cut your carrots into matchsticks, the peppers into strips and finely chop your onions. Heat up the oil in a large frying pan and fry until tender. Remove from the pan, add the veg to the pan and fry for about 5 minutes. Add the chicken and give it a good toss. Then add the leftovers of your marinade and the vegetable stock. Give it a good stir. To a small glass add the cornflour and mix with a little water. Stir and add to the pan.
