Your body could just be going through a change. I think it is every six years that this happens. Or it could be a combination of smaller things that are adding up. If it is truly worrying you then you might want to go to your doctor and ask their opinion…

Answer by *[C-Section scheduled 4/20]*
Stress, change in diet, rapid weight loss or weight gain.

Stress, abnormal hormone levels, tons of things. I had a missed period for 8 months as a teenager, and was totally freaked out thinking I was preggers. I wasn’t, just my hormones had gotten messed up, so the OB gave me some handy little pills that I had to take and they started me right up again.
It’s not a sign of infertility either, I was later on depo and have since conceived one(maybe 2, we need medical confirmation) children.
Answer by Mandy
Stress. that’s the biggest thing.
even having a little bit of stress can cause your period to be late.
Drugs also, when I use to do drugs, I could go like 2 1/2 months without my period.

is it true that eating fish during pregnancy causes miscarriage?.
Solutions:
Answer by Palestinian Muslima N Proud(OIC)
no, thats not true at all. Actually fish is good for u and the baby.
Answer by Anasmom
No. Too much fish is not good b/c of the high mercury levels. I would limit it to once a week or so.
Answer by pat
Fish that contain high levels of mercury should be avoided. Mercury consumed during pregnancy has been linked to developmental delays and brain damage. A sample of these types of fish include: shark, swordfish, king mackerel, and tilefish. Canned, chunk light tuna generally has a lower amount of mercury than other tuna, but still should only be eaten in moderation. Certain types of fish used in sushi should also be avoided due to high levels of mercury.
Answer by Athena
Eating too much fish is bad, but one serving per week is good. Eating too much (mercury) causes birth defects, but I have not heard it causes miscarriages.
Answer by Texasbabe84
No..no and no…You can eat fish, just not a whole lot because of mercury content..But i have never heard that it causes m/c!

So your doctor says you have a chemical pregnancy.
What is a chemical pregnancy? She said that you could conceive a child but does not know what might have caused it?
1. get a new doctor
2. There is no number two
Answer by PaulCyp
No offense intended, but why would you leave your doctor’s office, and then ask such a medical question here? Why didn’t you ask the doctor?
Answer by Trevor H
Are you sure she said chemical pregnancy, and not cervical pregnancy?
Cervical pregnancy is a rare form of ectopic pregnancy in which the pregnancy implants in the lining of the endocervical canal. It accounts for less than 1 percent of ectopic pregnancies The incidence is approximately 1 in 9000 deliveries . Cervical pregnancy may be more common in pregnancies achieved through assisted reproductive technologies; it occurs in 0.1 percent of in vitro fertilization pregnancies and accounts for 3.7 percent of IVF ectopic gestations
CLINICAL MANIFESTATIONS:
The most common symptom of cervical pregnancy is vaginal bleeding, which is often profuse and painless. Lower abdominal pain or cramps occur in fewer than one-third of patients; pain without bleeding is rare. It is important to think about the possibility of cervical pregnancy in such patients since early diagnosis is critical to avoidance of complications and successful treatment.

Is The H1N1 Swine Flu Vaccine Causing Miscarriages? organichealthadviser.com Is the H1N1 swine flu vaccine causing miscarriages? Is the vaccine safe for pregnant women to take? Those are questions that thousands upon thousands of pregnant women have wrestled with over the past couple of months as they have decided what to do about the swine flu. The WHO and US health authorities insisted that the H1N1 swine flu vaccine was perfectly safe for pregnant women and pushed them to the front of the line. So thousands of women did run out and get themselves injected with the vaccine. Now reports are pouring in from all over the United States of women who have lost their babies very quickly after receiving the H1N1 vaccine. Many of these women are overcome with pain and a feeling of loss and are looking for answers. They end up on sites like this one because the mainstream media won’t touch this story with a ten foot pole (lest they offend the pharmaceutical giants and their millions of dollars in ad money). Fortunately there are alternatives to the mainstream media now. The following are stories from 9 of our readers who have lost their babies very soon after getting the H1N1 swine flu vaccine. We challenge anyone who still believes in the safety of this vaccine to read all of the following stories and then to explain to the rest of us why we should not be concerned. The truth is that the H1N1 swine flu vaccine is NOT safe for pregnant women. The following are unedited personal …
What are some causes of a missed period other than pregnancy?. I just found out my 15 yr old daughter is having sex. Her period is 2-3wks late her breasts hurt and she has felt nausea. The home pregnancy test was negative. Any ideas of what else could be wrong?
Solutions:
Answer by [[When it Rains]]
Her period is probably just late.
Answer by melly180
First of all you should search this on Google and it will give you thorough answers. But stress can be a huge factor, it may not just delay, but eliminate a monthly period. It could also be her body just going through changes, or she could just be irregular. It could also be drugs or weight loss/weight gain. If she is still really early in the pregnancy, the test may have just not caught it. You can try this site or find another helpful one for yourself.
Answer by ShortStuff
Like others have said, it could be stress, poor health and many other things. I would still take another preg. test again and make sure shes not pregnant cuz those are classic signs of pregnancy. Unless shes on birth control.
Answer by tats431
stress that she could be pregnant would make her late,,,,,,,,,,, i promise u

Pregnancy Journey from weeks 28 through 30. Due June 10th, 2008. After dealing with infertility due to PCOS(Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), many tests and 3 rounds of Clomid(medication used to induce ovulation) We are overjoyed to say that We are FINALLY pregnant!!! What is polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)? Polycystic (pah-lee-SIS-tik) ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a health problem that can affect a woman’s menstrual cycle, ability to have children, hormones, heart, blood vessels, and appearance. These are sometimes called male hormones, although females also make them. missed or irregular periods many small cysts (sists) in their ovaries. Cysts are fluid-filled sacs. Lack of ovulation is usually the reason for fertility problems in women with PCOS. Several medications that stimulate ovulation can help women with PCOS become pregnant. Even so, other reasons for infertility in both the woman and man should be ruled out before fertility medications are used. Also, there is an increased risk for multiple births (twins, triplets) with fertility medications. For most patients, clomiphene citrate (Clomid®, Serophene®) is the first choice therapy to stimulate ovulation. What tests are used to diagnose polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)? There is no single test to diagnose PCOS. Your doctor will take a medical history, perform a physical exam, and possibly take some tests to rule out other causes of your symptoms …
What are causes of morning sickness besides pregnancy?. I know I”m not pregnant, but these past few days, I haven’t been able to keep food down in the morning. Could the recent death of my grandma be a possible cause?
Solutions:
Answer by Shaniqua♥
it could be that, or any number of things….
i personally, missed countless day of school because i have the same problem, but mine is really late at night/early morning..
i would feel sick and mistake it for an actual stomach bu gor something
but yes you can actually greive/worry yourself ‘sick’
Answer by mr.schlemmer
Morning sickness is a term referring to pregnancy, but as you’ve stated you know your not pregnant. Yes, stress, traumatic experiences, and food poisoning are other causes of nausea and vomiting. I recommend seeing your physician immediately because if by small chance that it is food poisoning it might get worst.
Answer by larsor4
Could be stress you’re feeling from that tragic event. It could also be due to low blood pressure when you wake up, or even dehydration. Try drinking a small glass of water before you go to bed
Personally, I’ve found that taking a multi-vitamin was making me sick everyday. I can’t take vitamins in the morning, even with food, or I will be seeing it all again in about an hour.
Maybe look at what you’re eating as well. Do you eat late at night before going to bed…that could be contributing. I can’t handle very large meals any time of the day, so in the morning, I’ll get ready for the day first, then have a light yogurt. Then maybe a few hours later, I’ll take a break and have a piece of fruit. This goes on throughout the day. While I don’t eat lots at once, I still get my calories in because I eat 6-7 times during the course of a day.
Not saying that that is your issue, but just suggesting that, until this subsides, you might want to downsize your breakfast or put it off another hour or so if you’re not too hungry.
