Can a girl get pregnancy symptoms from being too paranoid about being pregnant?. Me and my girlfriend had sex two weeks ago and she is getting pregnancy symptoms but she is really paranoid and only gets them when she thinks about being pregnant. Is she just paranoid about loosing her future in college cause were only 18??
We used a condom and she takes Birth Control the proper way.

you can tell your pregnant two weeks after conception is she late? but yes you can have symptoms in same cases people have had there breast get milk belly grow morning sickness etc but are not even pregnant your mind is powerful

When a girl thinks she is pregnant, her brain tricks her body into thinking that also.
So that’s probably all it is, but if she misses her period, then start worrying.
But, it might be a little late, because she is thinking she is pregnant, so wait for a week after her period starts, and then get her a test.

It’s easy to imagine that you are having pregnancy symptoms when you are worrying about it yes,you used two methods of birth control so the chances of her actually being pregnant are absolutely tiny but if she thinks about it enough she will imagine symptoms,i think she is definitely over thinking this.

Ok I know this is going to sounds wierd! With all three of my kids I had dreams about being pregnant or I would see a positive pregnancy test. (Has this happened to anyone else?) For exampleI am 7 weeks pregnant and before i missed my period I had a dream where i was pregnant. I saw my stomach big and all. Not after a week… That’s waaaaaaaay to soon..You usually wont get any kind of signs until your about 4 weeks.. But hey, everyone is different and i could be wrong.. Its just not likely.. Good luck!

Do not listen to the folks who say its too soon. If you know your body, you will know when something is out of the ordinary. I have 3 kids, so I know. But to answer your question, yes you can have symptoms after a week. Albeit at that point they may be very minor symptoms. I have a one year old and 3 days after she was conceived, I noticed my breasts unusually tender. (I knew the day of conception because it was planned.) But some women also experience what seem like pregnancy symtpoms that could be attributed to other things as well, such as hormonal changes or PMS.

I don’t think that it is too early…but many pregnancy symptoms are very similar to PMS. And you could just be having more severe PMS symptoms since even they can vary month to month. Wait another week for your period…if you don’t get it, take a test!

I just got my BFP about 10 days ago…My first symptoms were sore breasts and elevated basal body temperature (not sure if you’re temping). Nausea didn’t kick in until about 3 days ago (I’m 5w5d today).
My pregnancy tests started showing up positive around 12 dpo (2 days before my expected period).
Everybody’s different though…some women have symptoms super early and others not until later.

About 2 days after conception, I had strong, sudden urges to vomit all day long for that one day. That’s when I highly suspected. My next symptoms were just like PMS only earlier, they didn’t go away and I didn’t feel like I usually do just before AF visits. Hope this helps

I guess my first “symptom” was nausea when I skipped a meal or did not eat “on time”. My breasts felt swollen and sore. Kinda crampy like I was going to start my period but never would.
I must say that with ALL four of my babies I had the nose of a bloodhound. My sense of smell was outrageous. I could smell my daugher using perfume or powder from my lower floor in a 3 story house.
I deliver number four in a few weeks.

My first symptom was not having my period. Then my breasts started to really hurt. I went to the doctor and they confirmed my pregnancy. As soon as I found out, all the normal symptoms started coming up. First it was nausea, and then I began vomiting every morning. I felt pretty much miserable in the beginning of my pregnancy. You usually start feeling symptoms about 3-5 weeks. I started feeling symptoms at about 5 weeks. It all depends on the woman, and how sensitive she is to the pregnancy hormone.
And usually the first symptom is any kind of weirdness with your breasts, people think its morning sickness but in the very begining the pregnancy hormone hasent built up enough to make you sick. And that was my first symptom, my breasts were swollen a little and my nipples were sore.
